Despite not having any teams contending for a spot in the BCS National Championship game, the Big 10 continues to be well-represented in the BCS Rankings.

In fitting fashion, the two highest ranked teams will meet up next weekend in the inaugural Big 10 Championship game. No. 13 Michigan St. enters the conference championship game against No. 15 Wisconsin on a four-game winning streak, while the Badgers have also won four straight.

Surprisingly, No. 16 Michigan fell in the latest rankings, despite a 40-34 victory over Ohio St. With their large and passionate fanbase, the Wolverines would have a very good chance of being invited to a BCS bowl game if they can move into the Top 14.

No. 19 Nebraska bounced back from a disappointing loss to Michigan last week with an impressive 20-7 victory over Iowa. The last Big 10 team to earn a spot in the rankings is Penn St. The Nittany Lions check in at No. 21 despite a 45-7 loss to Wisconsin on Saturday.

With the Big Ten season over and Michigan State and Wisconsin locked into the inaugural championship game in Indianapolis, the BCS intrigue as it pertains to the conference now mainly involves the Michigan Wolverines. The winner of the Big Ten title game will obviously head off to the Rose Bowl, but the loser, who will exit with three losses, is expected to drop out of BCS bowl contention. Michigan, meanwhile, who finished the season 10-2, is expected by some to receive an at-large BCS bid.

Here is SB Nation's BCS prognosticator Samuel Chi outlining how he thinks Michigan can end up in a BCS bowl:

First, Georgia must lose to LSU. If Georgia wins the SEC title and takes the third BCS bid for the SEC, there is no scenario where Michigan would get a BCS bid. Michigan can count on jumping Georgia and the Big Ten title game loser to squeeze into the top 14, but it has one more team to worry about: Baylor. If the Bears beat Texas next week, they might jump the Wolverines, keeping them out of the top 14.

As for the BCS standings in Week 14, Chi predicts that Michigan State will lead the Big Ten at No. 14, with Wisconsin coming at No. 15 and Michigan right behind them at No. 16.

While it would take a borderline miracle for any Big 10 school to play in the BCS Championship Game, the Conference is still very well-represented in the latest BCS Rankings.

Michigan St. leads the Big 10 presence, as the Spartans have moved up to No. 14 following a dominant 55-3 win over Indiana. The Spartans, who have wrapped up a spot in the inaugural Big 10 Championship Game, close out the regular-season with a visit to Northwestern.

The Spartans are followed by the Michigan Wolverines in the latest rankings. The No. 15 Wolverines put together their best performance of the season in a 45-17 win over Nebraska. The loss dropped the Cornhuskers down to No. 21.

Penn St., which earned its first victory under Tom Bradley, moved up to No. 19 following the victory over Ohio St. The Nittany Lions will face No. 16 Wisconsin next weekend for a spot in the Big 10 Championship Game. The Badgers have won three straight heading into their game against Penn St.

While the Big 10 doesn't have any teams in National Championship contention, the conference is well-represented in the latest BCS Rankings. No. 15 Michigan St. is now the highest ranked team following a very impressive 37-21 victory over Iowa. With the win, the Spartans now control their destiny in the Big 10- Legends Division.

No. 16 Nebraska bounced back from its loss to Northwestern with a 17-14 emotionally charged win at Penn St. The Cornhuskers are followed in the rankings by No. 17 Wisconsin. The Badgers continued their strong play with a dominant 42-13 win at Minnesota.

The Michigan Wolverines check in at No. 18 in the latest BCS Rankings. The Wolverines bounced back from a tough loss against Iowa with an impressive 31-14 win at Illinois. Penn State, which fell to Nebraska in its first game since the emotional firing of Joe Paterno, fell to No. 21 in the BCS Rankings. The Nittany Lions and Badgers will meet up in two weeks in a matchup that should determine the winner of the Big 10- Leaders Division.

After a couple of huge upsets rocked the top of the Big 10, Penn State finds itself at No. 12 in the latest BCS Rankings. The Nittany Lions, who were stunned by off the field allegations this weekend, had the week off following a 10-7 home win over Illinois. Nebraska, which checked in at No. 10 prior to its home loss to Northwestern, dropped to No. 19. The Cornhuskers and Nittany Lions will matchup this weekend in Happy Valley.

Michigan St. remained at No. 17 in the BCS rankings following a 31-24 home win over Minnesota. The Spartans are followed directly by Wisconsin, which put an end to a two-game losing streak with a dominant 62-17 victory over Purdue.

Following a heartbreaking 24-16 road loss to Iowa, Michigan fell from No. 15 to No. 24 in the BCS rankings. The Wolverines will hope to bounce back from the loss when they visit Illinois this weekend.

With Nebraska's stunning loss to Northwestern, it's expected that the Big 10 will be shut out of the BCS top 10 heading into Week 11.

The Big 10's chance of landing two teams in the BCS this year might be dead. With Nebraska's shocking 28-25 loss to Northwestern, the Cornhuskers are expected to drop outside of the top 15 of the Week 11 BCS rankings, which would leave the Big 10 locked out of top 10 entirely. Here, according to BCSGuru.com's Samuel Chi, is what the BCS standings should look like heading into Week 11:

1. LSU, 2. Oklahoma State, 3. Alabama, 4. Stanford, 5. Boise State, 6. Oklahoma, 7. Arkansas, 8. Oregon, 9. Clemson, 10. Virginia Tech, 11. Houston, 12. Penn State, 13. Kansas State, 14. South Carolina, 15. Michigan State.

So what would be the Big 10's best chance of getting two teams into BCS bowl games? The most likely route would be for Penn State, currently the highest ranked Big 10 team, to win out and enter the Big 10 title game with one loss. If the Nittany Lions lost the championship game, it's possible, depending on how the rest of the country shook out, that they would be selected as the final BCS at-large. But the Nittany Lions— who finish the season with Nebraska, Ohio State and Wisconsin— can't look ahead to that scenario.
