After a dominant 24-3 victory over Michigan State, Nebraska jumped to No. 10 in the latest BCS Rankings. The Cornhuskers have won three in a row following the 48-17 loss at Wisconsin. The Huskers are joined in the latest rankings by four other Big 10 teams. LSU and Alabama remain at the top of the rankings, and the two teams are set to matchup this weekend in Tuscaloosa.

Following a strong performance against Purdue, Michigan moves up three spots to No. 15. Although a lot can change in a couple of weeks, the matchup between the Wolverines and Cornhuskers in two weeks could have big implications in the Big 10. Penn State checks in at No. 16 following its 10-7 home win over Illinois, which gave Joe Paterno the 409th victory of his career.

Michigan State dropped to No. 17 after its loss at Nebraska, while Wisconsin has plummeted all the way down to No. 20 after back-to-back losses.

A few weeks ago, it seemed like the Wisconsin Badgers had a chance to emerge as the class of the Big Ten conference and a legitimate contender for the national title. Those thoughts have never seemed more off-base than they do today, as the Badgers continue their free fall in the BCS rankings following a second consecutive defeat. Over at SB Nation our resident BCS guru, Samuel Chi, has the most recent ranking projections up, and the Badgers are nowhere to be found among the projected top 15 teams.

The Badgers lost to Ohio State on Saturday in brutal fashion, giving up a last minute touchdown pass on the road to lose 33-27. This comes on the heels of a rough loss against Michigan State the week before, and makes a possible BCS bowl appearance pretty unlikely at this point.

The biggest climber in the division appears to be the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who are coming off an impressive 24-3 victory over then-No. 11 Michigan State.

Here are the projected top 15 teams:

BCS Standings projections, Week 10: 1. LSU, 2. Alabama, 3. Oklahoma State, 4. Stanford, 5. Boise State, 6. Oklahoma, 7. Oregon, 8. Arkansas, 9. South Carolina, 10. Virginia Tech, 11. Nebraska, 12. Houston, 13. Michigan, 14. Kansas State, 15. Penn State.
