Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o finished second to Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel in Heisman voting as he earned 321 votes on Saturday.
Manziel finished first with 474 votes, followed by Te'o, while Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein finished third with 60 votes.
Te'o had 101 tackles and seven interceptions for the Fighting Irish this season. Te'o led a Notre Dame defense that gave up just 10.3 yards per game which ranked first in the country.
Collin Klein finished third with 60 votes as he passed for 2,490 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for another 890 yards and 22 touchdowns on the ground.
Manziel completed 68.3 percent of his passes for 3,419 yards and 24 passing touchdowns to just eight interceptions this season. Manziel also rushed for 1,181 yards and led the SEC with 19 rushing touchdowns.
