The No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will look to continue their torrid start on Saturday when they welcome the No. 17 Stanford Cardinal to Notre Dame Stadium. The Fighting Irish will naturally do so as a favorite.
According to OddsShark, Notre Dame is currently a seven-point favorite over Stanford. The Fighting Irish have been dominant so far this season, with a plus-21 point differential and a 4-1 record against the spread. Stanford is 4-1 overall on the season, but they have not been as successful against the spread, with just a 2-3 record for gamblers.
The over/under for the game is currently set at 49. Thanks to a stout defense that ranks as one of the best in the country, Notre Dame has only gone over the number once in five games. The Stanford offense will provide a challenge, but Notre Dame has stepped up and shut down good offenses on several occasions this year. Because of this, there would be little surprise if this game goes under.
