The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (10-6, 2-1) will be looking to extend their 28-game home winning streak when they host the South Florida Bulls (9-7, 2-1) on Tuesday night. Although the Irish have dropped all six of their seven games played either on the road or at neutral sites, they are undefeated at home and are coming off an exciting double-overtime 67-65 win over the formerly No. 11 ranked Louisville Cardinals. As for the Bulls, they suffer a similar affliction and have gone 8-1 at home but are only 1-4 on the road.
South Florida is lead by junior forward Jawanza Poland and senoir big man Augustus Gilchrist. Poland leads the team with an average of 11.0 points per game, while Gilchrist contributes 10.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest. Notre Dame's Jack Cooley earned Big East honorable mention for his strong performances during the week ending on January 8th, as he averaged 16.5 points and 10.5 rebounds during that period.
