Northwestern Vs. Minnesota Halftime Score: Wildcats Lead Gophers 36-34

Thursday's game against Minnesota is a pivotal one for Northwestern's NCAA tournament hopes, and so far the three-pointers are falling for the Wildcats; still, they have a battle on their hands with the Gophers and lead by a slim 36-34 margin at the half.

It was the Gophers who jumped out early with some hot shooting, and they also had good success from beyond the three-point arc throughout the half. Andre Hollins led that charge for Minnesota with 16 points on 6-7 shooting, including a 4-5 effort from three-point range.

JerShon Cobb and John Shurna were outstanding for Northwestern in the half, scoring a combined 26 points. Cobb was 3-3 from downtown, Shurna 4-7.
