The 2012 NIT Tournament ended for the No. 4 Northwestern Wildcats on Friday, as the No. 1 Washington Huskies grabbed a 76-55 victory despite 24 points, six rebounds, two assists, four steals and a block from John Shurna in his final game as Wildcat. Now the No. 7 Illinois St. Redbirds stand alone as the local team still in the mix.
