In a game that has huge post-season implications for Northwestern, the Wildcats were able to respond to a sluggish start to claim a 31-24 halftime lead over the visiting Michigan Wolverines.
The Wolverines were hot from beyond the arc in the early stages and bolted out to a 10-3 lead while Northwestern struggled at both ends of the floor. Michigan eventually began to cool off, though they still finished the half a respectable 6-16 (37.5%) from beyond the arc. Tim Hardaway Jr. leads the team with seven points.
