Northwestern Vs. Indiana Preview: Wildcats Go For 2nd Road Win In Big Ten Play

Northwestern hopes to bounce back after a loss to Purdue on Sunday.

The Northwestern Wildcats have been working their way up the Big Ten standings recently, but a loss to Purdue on Sunday night kept them from reaching .500 in league play. To bounce back, they'll have to win a tough game on the road at Indiana, where the Hoosiers have beaten the likes of Ohio State and Kentucky.

The good news for Northwestern is that Indiana's defense has been sub-par throughout conference play. The Hoosiers rarely force turnovers and the Wildcats rarely commit them, and the Hoosiers' FG% defense has been mediocre or worse both inside and out.

But the Wildcats have had their own issues at the defensive end -- particularly along the perimeter -- and the only team with a better three-point field goal percentage in Big Ten games than Northwestern is Indiana.

Game Date & Time: Wednesday, Feb. 15, 5:30 p.m. CT
