Wisconsin Vs. Northwestern Final Score: Badgers Surge In Second Half, Beat Wildcats By 20

After a shocking upset win against No. 7 Michigan State last Saturday, Northwestern started to get the city of Chicago buzzing about the possibility of the school's first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. After a 77-57 loss at the Kohl Center to Wisconsin on Wednesday that saw the Wildcats get blown out in the second half, perhaps it's time to shelve the post-season talk for a little bit.

Northwestern trailed by only two at halftime, but Bo Ryan's crew proved to be too much to handle for the 'Cats. Wing Ryan Evans went 7-for-13 from the field to finish with 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Badgers. Guard Jordan Taylor hit four three-pointers to finish with 15 points and six rebounds in the win for Wisconsin.

Star forward John Shurna led the way for Northwestern, who falls to 12-6 with the loss. Shurna scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds in the loss.
