The Wisconsin Badgers notoriously have one of the best home court advantages in all of college basketball, but everything may seem easier to the Northwestern Wildcats after defeating the Top 10 ranked Michigan State Spartans. The Badgers are also having an uncharacteristically down year (by their standards), having dropped two conference home games to the Iowa Hawkeyes and MIchigan State Spartans already this season.
For the Wildcats, their victory over the Spartans may be their "signature win" come Selection Sunday, but the team could still use an impressive road victory, where they are 1-3 on the year, with the one win coming over a lowly Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets team. Northwestern came close last week in their 66-64 overtime loss in Ann Arbor to the Michigan Wolverines, but as the Wildcats have learned in recent years as it pertains to the NCAA tournament, "close" usually isn't good enough.
