Well I'm 20-4 on the season with my picks after another 10-2 record during week 2 of the Big 10 season. Last week I lost the thriller between Iowa and Iowa State and also lost the Minnesota and New Mexico State Game.
Lets hope to improve on these numbers in Week 3. Here are my picks:
Michigan 28 Eastern Michigan 14
This could be kind of a hangover game for the Wolverines after such a thriller against Notre Dame. I wouldn't be surprised to see Michigan to start off slowly but still win by two scores.
Penn State 31 Temple 7
I expect the Lions to rebound from the loss to Alabama last week.
Iowa 24 Pittsburgh 21
I think Iowa will win at home, but it definitely will be a close one.
Purdue 24 SEMO 14
The Boilermakers have to win this game. Don't they?
Miami (OH) 24 Minnesota 21
I can't figure out this year's Gophers squad. They lose a close one to USC but then fall to New Mexico State. This week I expect to be close again and I'm going to go with Miami.
Michigan State 27 Notre Dame 24
Sparty will be tested for the first time this season against the Irish, but as the better team they'll win a close one in South Bend.
Northwestern 31 Army 17
With or without Persa, I still like the 'Cats in this one.
Indiana 24 South Carolina State 17
Hoosiers have to win this game. Right?
Nebraska 35 Washington 10
Have to go with the 'Huskers at home.
Wisconsin 38 Northern Illinois 24
The Badgers can't look past the Huskies and I don't think they will. This game should be close for a while, but the Badgers will pull away late.
Illinois 31 Arizona State 24
Best team by far the Illini have played this season with the nationally ranked Sun Devils coming to town. I like the Illini at home in what should be an entertaining game.
Miami 28 Ohio State 24
This is a tough one with all the suspensions and such between these two teams. I'm gonna take the 'Canes at home.
