The Northwestern Wildcats, making their sixth trip -- and third straight -- to the NIT, posted their first win in that tournament in 17 years, defeating Wisconsin-Milwaukee 70-61 in Evanston.
For that victory, they get a trip to Boston to play No. 1 seed Boston College on Saturday morning. The Eagles won their first-round game over McNeese State 82-64 on Tuesday.
