Northwestern Vs. Nebraska Score Update: Wildcats Hold 14-10 Lead

Despite an injury to starting QB Dan Persa, Northwestern still holds a 14-10 lead heading into the 4th quarter at No. 10 Nebraska. The combination of Kain Colter and Trevor Siemian has been effective in replacing Persa, with Colter rushing for a touchdown early in the third quarter. The Wildcats had a chance to extend their lead, but Siemian threw a key interception in the endzone.

Nebraska has continued to receive strong play from QB Taylor Martinez. Martinez threw a touchdown late in the third quarter to Tim Marlowe that helped close the gap to 14-10. Martinez has completed 17/19 attempts to keep the Cornhuskers in the game. The Wildcats defense has done a nice job slowing down Nebraska RB Rex Burkhead, limiting the steady RB to only 61 yards rushing through three quarters.
