In a weekend otherwise populated by lopsided conference games, Big Ten fans should be able to turn to the matchup between the Michigan Wolverines and the Iowa Hawkeyes for quality contest. At 2-2 in the Legends division of the conference, the Iowa Hawkeyes are still in the hunt to for the Big Ten Championship game. They currently sit one game back from Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska. The Hawkeyes will no doubt be looking to avenge last week's embarrassing loss to the awful Minnesota Gophers.
As for Michigan, they are favorites to win this weekend's game in Iowa City. Indeed, the game still has big implications for Denard Robinson and the Wolverines. SB Nation is currently projecting Michigan to reach the Capitol One bowl following the regular season, which would be a fairly nice accomplishment for Head Coach Brady Hoke and company. It's never smart to count out anyone in the helter skelter world of college football. Still, Kirk Ferentz has the incredibly tall task of rebuilding his team's confidence mid stride.
