The Northwestern Wildcats (4-0) capped a successful trip to the Charleston Classic by winning the tournament with a pair of wins over the weekend. In the semifinals, the Wildcats defeated Tulsa, 69-65, thanks largely to the play of Drew Crawford (28 points) and John Shurna (15 points).

Northwestern followed that with an 80-73 win over Seton Hall in the championship game on Sunday. Crawford and Shurna led the charge once again with 27 and 19 points, respectively. The Wildcats weathered a 15-0 SHU run midway through the second half that turned a 12-point Northwestern lead into a three-point deficit.

Notre Dame (4-0) stayed unbeaten with a 93-69 win over Delaware State on Friday. Four Irish players were in double figures, led by Scott Martin's 23 points.

Illinois and DePaul did not play over the weekend.
