Northwestern Vs. Rice Score Update: Persa Strikes Again To Give Wildcats 28-0 Lead

The Dan Persa show has continued for Northwestern, as the senior QB has now thrown for 372 yards and 4 TD's to help give Northwestern a 28-0 lead over the Rice Owls. On his latest TD throw, Persa connected with the versatile Kain Colter on a 3-yard TD pass to give the Wildcats a comfortable lead.

Jeremy Ebert has been the primary target for Persa, with the senior WR grabbing seven catches for 208 yards. Ebert also has 2 TD receptions, while Colter and Demetrius Fields have also found the endzone for Northwestern.

On the defensive end, the Wildcats have continued to dominate. Northwestern limited the Owls to only 37 total yards in the third quarter and forced three punts. If Northwestern can hold on over the final 15 minutes, it will be the third consecutive victory for the Wildcats.
