Coming off a dominating 20-3 at Michigan State and off to their first 3-0 start since 2002, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish return home to host Michigan in a primetime matchup.
The Wolverines are at 2-1, following a season-opening blowout loss at Alabama with home wins over Air Force and UMass. Saturday will be Michigan's first true road game of the season.
The biggest key in Notre Dame's win at MSU was the front seven of the defense, which held Heisman Trophy candidate and MSU running back Le'Veon Bell in check all night and sacked quarterback Andrew Maxwell four times.
After being crushed by Alabama's defense, Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson has recorded more than 390 yards of total offense in each of Michigan's last two games. Along with aiming for a 4-0 start, the Irish will need to finish strong. Michigan has beaten Notre Dame with a last-minute touchdown in each their last three meetings.
