Louisiana Tech Vs. Illinois 2012: TV Schedule, Game Time, Spread And More

Illinois hopes to slow down the Louisiana Tech offense and improve to 3-1.

The Illinois football team looks to improve to 3-1 on the season as it plays Louisiana Tech at 7 p.m. CT Saturday on Big Ten Network.

The Illini have feasted on non-power conference competition this season, beating Western Michigan and Charleston Southern by a combined 68-7. Quarterback Reilly O'Toole is completing 79 percent of his for 394 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions in three games this season.

Louisiana Tech boasts a high-scoring offense and comes into the game 2-0, putting up 112 points in those two wins. The defense, however, has also given up yardage and points — opponents have scored 86 points in those two games.

Louisiana Tech also boasts a high-efficiency quarterback. Colby Cameron is completing nearly 70 percent of his passes and has 7 touchdowns with no interceptions this season. Running backs Tevin King and Kenneth Dixon have combined to run for 519 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Illinois is favored by nine points in the game.
