Simeon (Chicago) senior Kendrick Nunn has finalized his itinerary for his five official recruiting visits, and the Illinois Fighting Illini will get the first crack at the highly recruited guard. According to Melvin Nunn, here is Nunn's travel schedule:
- Sept. 14-16: Illinois Fighting Illini
- Sept. 21-23: Memphis Tigers
- Sept. 28-30: UCLA Bruins
- Oct. 5-7: Ohio State Buckeyes
- Oct. 12-14: Marquette Golden Eagles
Nunn has not yet set a date for his commitment, though it is expected sometime after he completes those visits. A commitment from Nunn would be a big recruiting victory for new Illinois head coach John Groce, who could help alleviate concerns that he will have trouble luring top Chicago talent to Champaign.
Nunn, of course, is a teammate of Jabari Parker, the top recruit in the country. There's been no indication, though, that either Nunn or Parker will influence the other's decision.
