Illinois Basketball Recruiting: School Shows Interest In PG Tyler Ennis

New Jersey high school point guard Tyler Ennis has listed the Illinois Fighting Illini among the teams that are showing serious interest in landing his services, according to Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports.

Syracuse, Memphis, Louisville, Baylor, Wake Forest and UCLA were also listed as suitors for Ennis, who is considered one of the top point guard prospects in the nation.

They're not favorites, but they're who keeps in touch the most. Who I'm in touch with the most right now.

Ennis also noted that he wants to go to a strong program that will allow him to get significant playing time immediately. Playing for St. Benedicts (NJ), he's proven to be an adept floor general with good passing skills and developing range as a shooter. CBS Sports has Ennis rated No. 27 on their Top 100 list of high school basketball prospects.
