When sophomore center Meyers Leonard decided to forgo his final two years of eligibility to enter the 2012 NBA Draft, the Illinois Fighting Illini and new coach John Groce found themselves with a dearth of able bodies in the frontcourt. On Thursday, Groce added another option when 6-foot-8 Coastal Carolina forward Sam McLaurin announced he's transferring to Illinois for his senior season.
And how did he announce it? Well.

Sounds like every high school senior who just got rejected from Northwestern's engineering program.
McLaurin immediately deleted the tweet and went back to Twitter to apologize for his language.
