Bracketology 2012: Northwestern Still In Jerry Palm's Latest Projection

The general feeling after Northwestern's loss to Minnesota on Thursday afternoon was that the Wildcats probably had their NCAA Tournament hopes dashed. The defeat dropped Northwestern to just 8-11 in Big Ten games and 18-13 overall. In Palm's scenario, a couple of upsets in conference tournaments this weekend by teams that would not otherwise have made the NCAA Tournament could knock the Wildcats right out of the picture.
