2012 Super Bowl: First Quarter Observations

We are one quarter in to the Super Bowl, and through one quarter it seems like just a normal Sunday Night Football game. For whatever reason, this Super Bowl hasn’t had anything that makes this game seem "special".

The commercials have been no different than those that I would fast forward through when catching up on my DVR.

My only excitement was the fact that my cat Irma won the first quarter super bowl square in my fiance Merry’s office pool. Who would have thought that a 9 and a 0 would be worth anything, but gotta love a safety.

You know the game is boring when Al Michaels has already mentioned twice how big an acquisition punter Steve Weatherford was for the Giants this offseason.
