2012 Super Bowl Line And Odds: Patriots Still Slight Favorite

Though many are giving the New York Giants a much better shot at victory in the 2012 Super Bowl than they did when the Giants and New England Patriots met in the big game four years ago, but the Pats are still favored heading into Sunday night's match up. After opening as 3.5 point favorites, New England currently sits as 2.5 point favorites as the Super Bowl draws closer.

The over/under for the game is 54 points, which means that Vegas is expecting a somewhat defensive battle considering that the two teams averaged a combined 61 points per game in the regular season. Of course, the relatively conservative number isn't exactly a surprise considering that the last time these two teams met in the Super Bowl, the Giants held a historic New England offense to just 14 points.
