2012 Super Bowl Odds: New England Patriots A Slight Favorite To Defeat New York Giants

The New England Patriots opened as 3-1/2 point favorites over the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, but in the days since then, the line has moved a little bit in New York's direction, according to OddsShark. On the eve of the Super Bowl, the Patriots are favored by 2-1/2 points.

Much like the Green Bay Packers last season, the Giants got hot at the right time and managed to reach the title game after a relatively modest regular season. Their performances over the last few weeks -- including road wins over the NFC's top two seeds -- suggest a team plenty capable of defeating the Patriots on Sunday, and Vegas handicappers agree.
