Illinois Fighting Illini head coach Bruce Weber has been under fire not only for the team 7 of their last 8 games and falling to 16-10 overall, but also for his comments made out of frustration after a loss to the Purdue Boilermakers on Wednesday. Weber called out sophomore C Meyers Leonard, he "should have 20 rebounds all the time. It's not fair to him. It's not fair to us. It's not fair to his teammates." The embattled coach released an apologetic statement on Thursday, but many fans and supporters are starting to question his job security anyways.
Former Illinois player and current assistant coach at Valparaiso, Roger Powell, joined CSN-Chicago to provide his reaction and analysis of the situation involving the head coach from his playing days.
