Illinois knows it must focus on finishing this week against Michigan after a disappointing fourth-quarter performance against Wisconsin on Saturday.

The Illinois Fighting Illini are focused on playing a strong fourth quarter after their performance last week against the Wisconsin Badgers. Illinois let up 21 points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 31-14 loss, and the team knows they must put together a full game to earn a win.

Head coach Tim Beckham said he was proud of the way his team performed for three quarters, but added, "in the game of football, you have to finish."

Prior to the game against Wisconsin, the Illini players met to address issues from previous losses to Louisiana Tech and Penn State. Defensive end Michael Buchanan said the meeting helped against the Badgers, but still echoed the sentiments of coach Beckham, saying, "we just have to do a better job finishing."

Illinois takes on the No. 25 Michigan Wolverines next on Oct. 13 in Ann Arbor. The Illini are still looking for their first Big Ten win of the season.
