Illinois Vs Nebraska Score Update: Cornhuskers Lead 25-22 At Half

Illinois looks to go 3-1 in Big Ten

Illinois returns home to Assembly Hall after a close win against the Northwestern Wildcats. Saturday the Illini welcome the Nebraska Cornhuskers to Champaign to face the Big 10's newest team. Illinois and Nebraska haven't faced each other in basketball in over 20 years.

The Illini started Saturday's game a little flat against Nebraska. The Cornhuskers hold a three-point lead at halftime.

Nebraska was led in the first half by Brandon Richardson who has eight first half points. Center Jorge Brian Diaz provided a nice spark off the bench with five points.

Illinois was led by guard Joseph Bertrand who scored eight points.

The Illini have been without the services of their leading scorer D.J. Richardson who has an injured shooting wrist.

Nebraska is still looking for their first Big 10 win of the season.
