Top 30 NBA Draft Prospects: Illini's Meyers Leonard Currently Ranked Seventh

ESPN's analyst Doug Gottlieb has released his list of the Top 30 NBA Draft Prospects. The University of Illinois' Meyers Leonard is ranked number seven on the initial list.

According to Gottlieb,

7. Meyers Leonard, Illinois Fighting Illini

Huge upside that might be best to refine in college for another year or even two. But he's a 7-foot-2, great athlete with lots of skill. He just needs strength and confidence.

It will be interesting to see if Leonard comes back to school next season. His size and upside would probably make him a high draft pick and the money associated with that could be too tempting to turn down.

Leading Gottlieb's list are Perry Jones III of Baylor, Harrison Barnes of North Carolina, and Andre Drummond of Connecticut.
