The Illinois Fighting Illini have struggled over the last month and lost four consecutive games, but the good news is that they're already bowl eligible, and they could potentially spoil Wisconsin's Big Ten title aspirations on Saturday.
In the four games they've lost, Illinois' offense has really struggled to move the football. They were held to under 300 total yards in three of the four games and did not score more than 14 points in any of them. Defensively, they've been solid, and that's been the case all year. The Illini rank 9th nationally in total defense and 4th in the Big Ten. They'll be challenged by a Wisconsin offense that is ranked 7th nationally in total offense.
The Badgers should have plenty of motivation on Saturday since they are back in control of their own destiny in the Leaders Division; they're a game behind the Penn State Nittany Lions entering the weekend, but they still have a head-to-head matchup with Penn State ahead of them.
