The Michigan Wolverines (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) hit the road and travel to Champaign, IL to meet up with the Illinois Fighting Illini (6-3, 2-3 Big Ten) on Saturday afternoon. Last season the two teams put together an instant-classic game in a 67-56 triple-overtime Michigan victory, but don't expect this game to challenge the record it set for most combined points in the history of Michigan football. However, the odds-makers do expect another close game, as Michigan is only favored by one point.

As noted by BigTen.org, this game is important not only in the Big Ten standings, but also because Michigan QB Denard Robinson can reach several career milestones. He is 67 rushing yards away from 3,000 for his career, and he is also only 125 passing yards away from reaching 4,500. It will certainly be interesting to see if QB Nathan Scheelhaase, RB Troy Pollard and the Illini offense can keep pace with the Wolverines on Saturday afternoon.

Game date, time: 3:30 pm ET, Saturday, November 12

Location: Memorial Stadium, Champaign, IL

TV channel: ESPN, ABC Regional, ESPN 3

Spread: Michigan favored by one

Series history: Michigan leads, 67-23-2
