2012 Women's NCAA Tournament: DePaul A No. 7 Seed In Des Moines Region; Notre Dame No. 1 Seed In Raleigh Region

The field for the 2012 Women's NCAA Tournament was announced on Monday night, and both DePaul and Notre Dame made the cut out of the Big East.

The Blue Demons are the No. 7 seed in the Des Moines Region, where they will meet No. 10 BYU in the first round. That game is slated for Saturday, March 17, at 5:30 p.m. CT. The winner faces a potential matchup with No. 2 seed Tennessee in the second round.

Notre Dame is the No. 1 seed in the Raleigh Region, and the Irish will play No. 16 Liberty in their tournament opener. That game is set to tip at 1:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 18.
