South Florida Vs. DePaul Preview: Blue Demons Look To End Losing Streak

The DePaul Blue Demons are hosting the South Florida Bulls on Sunday as they look to turn things around after a brutal start to their Big East conference schedule. After beginning the season with nine wins in 12 games, DePaul has lost five of its first six games against Big East opponents.

Since beating Pittsburgh on Jan. 5, DePaul has still been searching for its second Big East victory of the season. The Blue Demons have lost four consecutive games against Villanova, Seton Hall, then-No. 15 Louisville and then-No. 12 Georgetown. Only Pittsburgh and Providence have done worse with their in-conference schedules thus far among Big East squads.

Unlike DePaul, South Florida really stumbled with its non-conference schedule but has played much better since the conference schedule began. After beginning the season 7-6, the Bulls have won four of their first six games against Big East opponents.
