A busy weekend in Chicago collegiate hoops features the Illinois Fighting Illini, Northwestern Wildcats, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and DePaul Blue Demons.

As the 2011-12 NCAA basketball season heats up and conference battles rage on, the weekend matchups for Chicago collegiate hoops continued to become more intriguing. The Illinois Fighting Illini need to bounce back after a letdown loss to the Penn State Nittany Lions, while the Notre Dame Fighting Irish gear up for a showdown with the No. 1 overall Syracuse Orange. The Northwestern Wildcats have stumbled a bit in Big 10 conference play, but have a chance to right the ship on Sunday, while the DePaul Blue Demons will be battling for their second Big East win on the same day. Here is all the information you need to find the games this weekend:

After a tough loss on Thursday against the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Illinois Fighting Illini (12-6, 2-4) look to rebound against the Wisconsin Badgers (15-5, 4-3) on Sunday afternoon.

The Northwestern Wildcats (12-6, 2-4) look to get back on track in conference play after a road loss to the Wisconsin Badgers when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers (14-5, 2-4) on Sunday.
