NCAA Basketball: DePaul Topples Loyola 69-58

Moses Morgan scored a team-high 13 points off the bench to lead DePaul past Loyola (Ill.) on Wednesday.

After consecutive losses to Mississippi and Milwaukee, the DePaul Blue Demons got back in the win column with a road victory over Loyola (Ill.) 69-58 on Wednesday. The win improves DePaul to 4-3, while Loyola falls to 1-6.

Four Blue Demons players finished in double-figures, led by senior center Krys Faber who contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore forward Moses Morgan came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points for DePaul. Starters Jamee Crockett and Jeremiah Kelly each scored 11 for the Blue Demons in the win.

Loyola fought back from a 47-17 halftime deficit and dominated the second half. Walt Gibler led the way, finishing with 29 points and eight rebounds on 12-of-18 shooting. Teammate Joe Crisman had 14 points, three rebounds and three steals for the Ramblers in the win.
