2012 MLB Standings: White Sox Hold Tenuous Lead Over Tigers In AL Central Race

The Chicago White Sox have been working hard to hold off the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central race, and with just 13 games left in the regular season the Sox have a two-game lead in the division. Chicago will play three more opponents over four series (at Angels, vs. Indians, vs. Rays, at Indians), while Detroit will play two more opponents over their final four trips (vs. Twins, vs. Royals, at Twins, at Royals). Here is a look at the AL Central heading into the games on Friday, Sept. 21:
