White Sox Vs. Tigers Lineups: Chicago Sends Jose Quintana To The Mound

The Chicago White Sox host the Detroit Tigers on Monday in makeup for a game that was postponed last Thursday. The two teams meet with a lot on the line, as the White Sox hold just a two-game lead over the Tigers in the AL Central with 17 games to play.

Jose Quintana gets the call for the White Sox in this crucial afternoon game. Quintana is 6-4 with a 3.52 ERA this season. He defeated the Tigers in his last outing, coming through with his strongest performance of the year. The rookie tossed 7 innings while allowing just one run.

The Tigers counter with right-hander Doug Fister. He is 9-8 with a 3.49 ERA. Fister has been strong in his two September starts, allowing just three runs in 14 innings.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. CT at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.
