Adam Dunn was ruled out for Monday's series opener against the Tigers, and the timetable for his return is still up in the air.
Dunn has missed the previous three games with a sore oblique. His time in the batting cage was restricted before Monday's game, and manager Robin Ventura said an MRI showed "something there." The only thing the White Sox can do is wait for it to feel better, whenever that is, according to CSN Chicago:
"We'll just keep checking on him," Ventura said. "He's not in there today, I know that. He has a chance at some point. But again you don't know until he starts moving around, swinging the bat. Then you find out."
