Alejandro De Aza Injury: White Sox CF Sits Out Monday's Game With Back Stiffness

Chicago White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza was scratched from Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals because of some back stiffness. Jordan Danks replaced him in the lineup.

In his first season as a regular for the White Sox, De Aza is hitting .289/.351/.412 with 23 doubles, six home runs and 42 RBI. He's also stolen 20 bases.

The White Sox currently lead Kansas City 1-0 in the fourth inning thanks to an RBI double from A.J. Pierzynski in the second inning. Chris Sale has struck out two and allowed one hit through three innings of work.
