Angels Vs. White Sox: MLB Denies Angels' Protest To Friday's Result

The Chicago White Sox will not have to re-play their game against the Los Angeles Angels from last Friday. According to Mike DiGiovanna of the L.A. Times, the MLB has said no-deal to Angels' manager Mike Scioscia and his protest from the crucial first inning of Friday's game:

In the first inning, a ground ball from 1B Paul Konerko resulted in a fielder's choice at home plate, but the Angels could not turn the double play as the throw to first pulled 1B Albert Pujols off the bag. Scioscia then filed a protest, saying Konerko had interfered with the play by veering from the base path.
