Jake Peavy Over Eye Infection, Will Be Ready For White Sox Vs. Tigers Opener On Friday

Chicago White Sox starter Jake Peavy was scratched from his scheduled start on Wednesday after he went to a local hospital Tuesday due to an infection in his right eye, but the issue has cleared up and now the veteran says he's ready to return to the mound on Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
