After getting swept by the Kansas City Royals over the weekend, the Chicago White Sox will attempt to win their second game in a row against the Yankees on Tuesday night.
To do so, they'll send Francisco Liriano to the hill. The lefty is coming off his first win with the White Sox since joining the team three weeks ago.
Liriano will need to have his best stuff, as the Yankees' potent offense looks to bounce back from Monday's loss. The Yanks have hit 29 more home runs than any other team in the league and lead the MLB in slugging average with .462.
The Yankees will counter Liriano with Ivan Nova, who has struggled since the All-Star break.
The White Sox currently lead the Tigers by two games in the American League Central, with 41 games remaining this season.
Tuesday's game will start at 7:10 p.m. CT and can be found on CSN Chicago.
