Chicago White Sox third baseman Brent Morel has been on the disabled list since May 18 with a back strain. On Friday night he made his return to game action as a DH in Single-A Winston Salem, but he declined to set a date for his return to the Chicago White Sox.
Morel said no target date for return.

Morel just started hitting in batting practice this week, and he will ease his way into playing third base in rehab after spending time at DH. As for his return to the majors, the White Sox's acquisition of third baseman Kevin Youkilis likely means that Morel is permanently out of the starting lineup in Chicago. That dilemma, though, is still a bit of a ways away.
