The Chicago White Sox suffered a disappointing end to their four-game series against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday night, but they have to quickly put that outcome behind them with the division-rival Detroit Tigers up next. The Tigers have caught fire and are now just 1.5 game behind the White Sox for first place in the American League Central.

In the opener of the three-game series, Tigers ace Justin Verlander (10-5, 2.43 ERA) takes the mound against Jake Peavy (7-6, 3.12 ERA) in a marquee pitching matchup at Comerica Park. Here is the TV schedule and game time information for game one of the head-to-head series:

TV: CSN-Chicago

Game Time: 6:05 p.m. CT

Location: Comerica Park, Detroit, Michigan
