On Monday night, the Chicago White Sox (49-39) take on the Boston Red Sox (45-44) for the first time since trading UT Brent Lillibridge and RHP Zach Stewart in exchange for 3B Kevin Youkilis.
Monday's game will mark a reunion of sorts as Youk' makes his first ever appearance at Fenway Park as an opposing player, but neither White Sox participant in the trade will be present. Stewart was optioned to Triple-A immediately after the trade while Lillibridge was designated for assignment Monday morning:
#Redsox DFAd Brent Lillibridge, who's been terrible in '12, but shown ability to hit LHP previously, versatile Someone #Mets should consider

The 28-year-old Lillibridge had a miserable .189 weighted on-base average through 59 games, and may find himself out of the majors for a while as he looks to recover his typically modest hitting ability.
