Jesse Crain Injury: White Sox Reliever Improving; Decision On DL Stint Expected To Be Made Tuesday

Chicago White Sox reliever Jesse Crain hasn't been available over the last few days, but he also has not been placed on the disabled list. Crain made progress during a throwing session on Sunday and says he expects to have a decision one way or the other about the DL by Tuesday.

Crain said he will go to U.S. Cellular Field on Monday for treatment and will resume throwing on Tuesday.

"I threw a little bit off the mound with tennis shoes on to get an angle and it’s definitely an improvement from all week," Crain said. "So I’ll take that as a step forward."
