The first wave of polling updates for the 2012 MLB All-Star Game was released on Tuesday, with two Chicago White Sox players cracking the top five at their position. First baseman Paul Konerko is third in the A.L. despite leading the league in batting average. A.J. Pierzynski, who is quietly off to what might be the best start of his career, is fifth among American League catchers.
