2012 MLB Draft Results: White Sox Select Shortstop Nicholas Basto At No. 171

The Chicago White Sox selected SS Nicholas Basto with their fifth round selection and the No. 171 overall pick. Basto played at Archbishop McCarthy High School in Florida with first-round pick RHP Nick Travieso of the Cincinnati Reds.
