2012 MLB Draft: White Sox Tell First Round Pick Courtney Hawkins To Stop Doing Backflips

It didn't take very long for Courtney Hawkins to make his first impression. After the White Sox selected the outfielder from Carroll High School in Texas with the No. 13 overall selection, Hawkins completed a backflip on live TV. In a suit and dress shoes, no less.

While it was surely an impressive display of athleticism from the 6-3, 220 lbs. outfielder, the man who selected Hawkins wants him to cut it out.

Let's hope this works out better than the last time a Chicago team drafted a player who immediately turned into a YouTube sensation.
